Dr. Wolfgang Tiedke, Managing Director

Dr. Wolfgang Tiedke has had experience in the management of small start-up companies for many years. In 1997 he was among the founding associates of IBFB Pharma GmbH. In the following years, he played a significant role in bringing highly qualified scientists and technical assistants, as well as setting up state-of-the-art laboratories, first in the Business & Innovation Center (BIC) in 1999, then in BioCity Leipzig in 2003. In 2005, he led the then IBFB Pharma GmbH to fusion with Curacyte AG, Munich, organising the restructuring of the company. In three financing rounds more than 20 million Euro equity capital and almost 10 million Euro subsidies were raised under his leadership and with his creative assistance. After Curacyte Discovery GmbH had been purchased by The Medicines Company, he withdrew from the company and then founded BlackSwan Pharma GmbH.
